Edward Scissorhands – FILMGRAB [ • ]

You know how Christmas isn't just a day, its the entirety of December? I am one of those people who treat Halloween with the same treatment. Although there are a lot more than ten movies that I love to watch during this spooky time of year, here is a small selection that I highly recommend!

1/10
Hocus Pocus (1993)
Who doesn't love this movie? Surely it's on everybody's October watch list. With the film being set on Halloween night it just gets me in such a festive mood.

2/10
The Corpse Bride (2006)
I love Tim Burton films. The animated ones in particular. The more obvious Tim Burton film for the season is 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' but I just prefer this; plus TNBC (excuse the tacky abbreviation) is a perfect November 1st film as it is the perfect transition from Halloween into Christmas!

3/10
Ghostbusters (1984)
Who you gonna call? I won't lie, I listen to Ghostbusters multiple times per day throughout October. Spooky 80's? YES!

4/10
Bewitched (2005)
This is one of the least obvious ones but I really love it. It's not too in-your-face 'Halloween', which obviously I don't mind anyway, but it just makes a nice change.

5/10
Edward Scissorhands (1991)
The Second Tim Burton film on my list, but how could I not? I love how this movie makes you cry but also makes you giggle.

6/10
Hotel Transylvania (2012)
This is obviously a children's film but it is so fun! It really reminds me of Halloween as a kid.

7/10
Coraline (2009)
I'll always remember watching this when it first come out and having to turn it off because of how scared I was. Its got to be one of the most sinister and creepy cartoons, aimed at children anyway.

8/10
The Sixth Sense (1999)
I watched this for the first time with my dad when I was younger and, at the time, it was the most haunting thing I'd ever watched. Nowadays, I don't find it that scary but the actual plot is so good and so well executed that I still watch it every year.

9/10
The Sixth Sense (1999)
I watched this for the first time with my dad when I was younger and, at the time, it was the most haunting thing I'd ever watched. Nowadays, I don't find it that scary but the actual plot is so good and so well executed that I still watch it every year.

10/10
Final Destination (2000)
Myself and my step sisters used to LOVE these when we were younger. No idea why my dad let us watch them though. Anyway, I still love them and still find them scary.
